@Clinton All the p2p file sharing softwares can search computer engineering stuff like books, softwares and videos etc. You can try few of the above list. More over to download books and search for other stuff I recommend you to search on some rapidshare enabled websites. Shafiq has compiled a very good list of good rapidshare search engines

Hey! There are too many p2p clients available which are opon source and available for download free of cost. You have provided some of the best p2p applications out there.

Must try Kazaa which is also best for music and videos
